Hawk Performance Pad Material Descriptions
HT14 (CODE V) Very high torque with aggressive initial bite. Excellent
modulation and release characteristics. Designed for cars with extremely high deceleration rates and down force. Supercedes HT-12 material. For use on open wheel formula cars, CART, Toyota Atlantic, F2000, F3000, Trans Am, and Porche GT.
HT10 (CODE S) Intermediate to high torque with a smooth initial bite. Excellent modulation, consistent pedal, good release characteristic. For use in CART, ASA, Hooters Cup, Trans Am, SCCA, and Sportscar series.
BLUE 9012 (CODE E) Medium/High torque brake compound. A reliable performer with a wide temperature range. Low pad and rotor wear rate with good brake modulation characteristics. The #1 selling pad material for SCCA. Recommended for Road Racing and Rally applications where low to mild temperature effectiveness is critical.
BLACK (CODE M) Medium torque compound designed to be a good, all purpose cost effective racing pad. |
