Each Sean Hyland longblock is built custom per order. We use only the best components available, and WILL NOT sacrifice quality for price. Our longblocks are built exclusively using Manley Forged Rods and Manley Forged pistons. Our main caps are fastened with ARP main studs and head studs, unlike competitors, where it’s optional. All our timing components are NEW parts. We use the latest revision timing components, including timing chains, guides, rockers and lifters. All components are manufactured in the United States.
Every longblock is performance prepped, regardless of application. Each block is carefully deburred, and lined honed. Each crank is prepped, oil holes are chamfered for enhanced oiling, crankshaft is polished. Each piston is deburred, gas and oiling ports filed. Rings are file fit as per your application. When comparing blocks, make sure you compare the important details, not just the price. If it’s less expensive, make sure you find out why.
